Kanev production department is a structural department of VIGGY PRODUCTION LLC, which specializes in the production of sauces, mustard, chrain and marinades, canned cucumbers and tomatoes, snacks, as well as the all line of mushroom products (paste, pickled and sterilized champignons).
Veres Company acquired the factory in April 1997. Exactly, with the purchase of this production asset that the history brand began. The enterprise was equipped with a line for the production of tomato paste, therefore, after its reconfiguration, the first products that began to be produced at the factory were ketchup.
The production of products is distributed among specialized manufactories: a sauce manufactory, a conservation manufactory, a mushroom blanching manufactory, a spice and seasoning manufactory, as well as a raw material collection point. All incoming raw materials and finished products undergo quality control at our own accredited laboratory. Since 2017, the production of products has been certified according to the international foodstuffs safety management system FSSC 22000.
The factory operates all the year round, providing jobs more than 400 permanent and seasonable employees.
A new manufactory for the production of spices and seasonings was opened at the factory in 2020. The manufactory is equipped with high-tech equipment, which allows not only produce a high-quality product while maintaining all the taste and aroma properties of natural raw materials, but also ensures the accuracy of dosing ingredients in mixtures at the level of pharmaceutical products.
